Pokhara-Providing Travelers With The Best Vacation Possible

After you've seen in the country and the typical Nepalese places, you have to go to Pokhara. Pokhara is a town that has adapted to its western travelers and is one of the most visited cities in Nepal. That is not only because you can eat in western restaurants, there are plenty of souvenirs that you can buy and generally good English is spoken.   Even some of the sights of the city have been revamped for tourists. Everything in Pokhara seems to be aimed at one thing: providing travelers with the best vacation possible.

Pokhara is the second largest city of Nepal and is the start and end of the Annapurna circuit trek. Tourism in Nepal is mostly centered at this city. It is a very fine place to forget your worries and wander in nature. You might feel the lake-side area of the town almost western but many sites are not in that area. You can find those sites quite as entertaining as well.

The Phewa Lake in Pokhara is the place to relax. In summer, the weather is not always perfect (hot, stuffy and wet), but it does not matter what you see when you look at the sky, the water ensures that you get time to have plenty of time to have fun.

Find a spot on the edge and enjoy! If you prefer something more active, you can go for adventure sports such as paragliding or mountain-flight. In many places along the Lake, you can rent rowboats. Rowing away, you can sail past the winter residence of the previously royal family and do not forget to visit the temple of the Taal Barahi ; which is situated at the middle of the lake.

Pokhara is the perfect place for you to buy souvenirs; because they have everything! From brand new backpacks to ceramic or wooden handicraft; the stores in Pokhara have it all. Walk through the streets, learn the culture, know and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere in the air.
